About Stewart Wines

Expert / Innovative / Committed to Sustainability

Andrew Stewart started Stewart Wines in 2005. His entire career has been in the wine trade, including several years as wine buyer at Oddbins – widely regarded as being the most adventurous wine specialist on the high street.

Andrew is one of only 390 Masters of Wine worldwide. The Institute of Masters of Wine is a professional body with an unsurpassed international reputation. Masters of Wine (MWs) have proved their understanding of all aspects of wine by passing the MW examination, recognised worldwide for its rigour and high standards. In addition to passing the examination, MWs sign the Institute Code of Conduct which requires them to act with honesty and integrity and to use every opportunity to share their understanding and appreciation of wine with others throughout the wider community.

Recent trends in the wine world include a growing interest in organic and vegan wines. Working with our suppliers we have reflected this in our current collection, and you will find all accredited products clearly marked in our wine list (available on request).

Sustainability is a high priority for us. Wine is an agricultural product which starts in the vineyard, most of which are farmed by small family growers. We are working with our suppliers to reduce waste in the supply chain. We hold the Green Mark accreditation, an international accreditation for businesses which are working to recognised environmental standards.

We offer a personal service, including all aspects of support with your wine requirements. So, whether it’s a general enquiry or a specific request, Stewart Wines would love to hear from you.

Stewart Wines has Green Mark accreditation. The Green Mark provides an internationally

recognised environmental certification for companies which are conducting business to

recognised environmental standards.
